"Accounting" is the first officially separated economic specialty in the world. Its centuries-long development is proof of its scientific and cognitive nature. This is reflected in the wide range of modern accounting knowledge. There is no sphere in social life - economic, non-productive, financial, where accounting is not used.

Every economic or managerial problem has financial and accounting aspects. Without knowledge on these fields, it would not be possible to find effective problem solutions. The education in “Financial management and marketing” program is a mix of disciplines, suitable for those who wish to have a wider view at the dependence and power of the relationship between the processes for creation, communication and value providing, which is actually the marketing and financial results of the organizations.

The educational goal of VTU "St. St. Cyril and Methodius ”in organizing the training in the specialty“ Accounting and Control ”in the educational qualification degree“ Bachelor ”is receiving academic general education and gradual specialization and profiling in the field of accounting.

The Master in Economics (Leadership and Management) program is open to the training of specialists who combine knowledge in the field of economics with leadership and management skills to successfully run managerial positions in various organizations.

The education in Finance program at VUZF University is distinguished by the study of classical disciplines while, at the same time, applying modern methods of teaching and interdisciplinary approach. A new look to organizations’ finance is provided, including knowledge from the field of business psychology, studying the role of IT systems and human factor for successful financial management.

The education in Business Economics, Entrepreneurship and Innovation program at VUZF University is characterized by concentration of innovative specialized disciplines, the studying of which will create professionals with strong analytic and managerial skills, ready to work in the present dynamic business environment.

In the Master’s degree programme in Accounting, students acquire fundamental knowledge and skills about the methodology and organization of accounting, the design of systems for financial and management accountancy; systems for diagnostics, due warning and minimizing of the operative and financial risk; applying of accounting standards as well as audit standards and current tax legislation.
