The Cosmetology program prepares students in all phases of Cosmetology. The program consists of 1600 hours of training in theoretical foundations, manipulative skills, business knowledge, and professional and ethical practices and prepares students to take the California State Board of Cosmetology examination for licensure.

Aesthetic cosmetology – is a possibility to work in a growing and constantly renewing industry of beauty services. The studies will grant a set of practical skills and it will help to cherish aesthetics and beauty and spread it to others.

The general Cosmetology program consists of a minimum of 1000 hours of training to provide entry-level skills to students who desire a career in the cosmetology profession. This program prepares individuals to provide professional cosmetic services in salons, resorts, casinos, dermatologist’s offices, and other related industry establishments. This includes courses in hair design, hair sculpting, chemical, esthetic, other cosmetic services, safety and sanitation, management, customer service, and preparation for practicing as a licensed cosmetologist in California. Courses in applicable professional labor laws and regulations in the cosmetology industry, physiology, anatomy, electricity, and ergonomics are also covered. Emphasis is placed on passing the state licensing exam and industry entry skills.
