A comprehensive culinary 14-month program designed for individuals of all culinary backgrounds. The training covers essential culinary arts and business skills. On-the-job training is an essential part of the program, providing hands-on experience in real-world settings. The program fee includes ingredients used throughout the course, as well as professional uniforms and a knife set.

Perho Business School's bachelor's degree in restaurant and catering provides good, extensive and diverse basic skills for food preparation, serving, sales and restaurant customer service. You can apply for a bachelor's degree in the restaurant and catering industry in a joint search and in a continuous search. The full-time study place is the Töölö campus.

Study restaurant and catering in a practical way. The employment situation in the industry is good. A cook who has completed the competence area of food services works at restaurants or in the catering sector, staff canteens, cafés, catering companies, freight and passenger ships as well as institutional kitchens.       

In their cooking studies, students use a lot of clean and high-quality ingredients from the nearby area, such as reindeer, fish, berries and mushrooms, for cooking. Students are also actively involved in sourcing local raw materials.

A vocational qualification in Restaurant and Catering Services is a secondary level vocational education, and we follow the official Finnish national curriculum. The qualification provides broad-based and diverse skills in cooking, serving, sales and customer service.
