Key Summary
Introduction
This program empowers you to explore the nature of economic objectives, social organisation, institutions of power, and the dynamics of conflict and cooperation. Youโll master modern non-conventional economic thinking, and tangible skills to gather and assess data through quantitative and qualitative methodologies. IEPS offers two specialisations: International Economics and International Politics. You can gain employment in supra-national institutions, corporations, political parties, and more.
This unique interdisciplinary program will take you on a journey through contemporary political, economic, and social issues, offering a multifaceted perspective. You will deal with the nature of economic and political agents, including the emergence of conflicts countered by cooperation. Mastering the principles of modern non-conventional economic and political thinking, you will be able to apply them in decision-making in social governance.
IEPS is built on two specializations: international economics and international politics. This will allow you โ alongside fulfilling common compulsory courses โ to focus on one of the disciplines. Our courses foster interdisciplinary critical thinking for social developments in the world and increase sensitivity to ethical challenges in decision-making and policy design in a contemporary environment.

Scholarships and Funding

Aside from scholarships administered by our faculty and other options, applicants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Zambia and Belarus (democratic forces) may apply for a Czech Government Scholarship - Developing Countries that fully covers tuition fees of selected Masterโs study programs and provides subsidies for health insurance and living expenses in Czechia.
Career Opportunities
You will be well equipped for independent research of economic and political issues in the international environment, including critical analysis and recommendation of policies for improvements in the given public or private sectors. The program prepares you for a career in banking and financial businesses, state administration, political parties, international institutions or in the private sector, for instance as managers or consultants in multinational corporations.
