The Football Business Academy is a global leader in football business education whose goal is to accelerate the professionalisation of the football industry and develop current and future leaders in the game. Founded in 2017 and based in Switzerland, The FBA is best known for its flagship degree – the Professional Master in Football Business – which is a 12-month program with two intakes each year.

This Master aims is to train specialist technicians, who are able to respond adequately to the different needs that are associated with physical exercise and its implications in health and welfare. Thus, a Masters in Exercise and Health have the following objectives

To apply critically the knowledge of Sports Science and acquired the ability to understand in order to clearly demonstrate a professional approach to the work in each area of ​​specialty | problem-solving capacity within the Sport and Physical Activity and reasons of its own arguments | Ability to critically understanding of the methods of collection, analysis and interpretation of appropriate information to physical activity and sports | Skills that allow communicate information, ideas, problems and solutions, both to consist of experts and non-experts | Understanding the need for multi and interdisciplinary approaches to the study of services, research and sport professions | Understanding the content through the reflective, academic and professional practice | capacity of understanding and critical awareness of the moral, ethical, aesthetic, ecological and legal underpinning good practice.

The course intends to contribute to the specialized training of graduates and to the development of applied research and scientific knowledge in the professional context of sport.

The Master in Sport Sciences at UBI is essentially aimed at Graduates, Physical Education Teachers, and Trainers. The quality and professional experience of the teachers who provide this Master's degree make possible a high degree of theoretical and practical learning. It was our concern to select a faculty with a huge national and international reputation, with a wide scientific publication and high experience in higher education. What kind of Masters do we want? In summary, we can define and structure the main objectives of this cycle of studies as follows: Provide students with advanced training in the scope of Physical Activity Assessment and Prescription; To develop technical, pedagogical and scientific professional competences that allow an intervention of excellence in the scope of Physical Activity Assessment and Prescription; To contribute to the academic progression, intellectual maturity and promotion of the research capacities of university and polytechnic teaching teachers, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.

Traditionally, sport management is based on the scientific area of sport, neglecting knowledge of business sciences. Our offer emerges from the synergy between several areas, bringing together experience from the professional context of Sports with the scientific know-how of management, marketing, finance and leadership.

To develop in football and futsal coaches skills in planning, operationalizing, and evaluating a sports training process in different age groups and levels of competition; Develop a critical spirit and the ability to conduct scientific research of high quality and impact on issues related to the process of sports training in football or futsal; Develop a strong sports spirit and culture, based on a deeply technical, scientific and pedagogical knowledge.
