Our Avionics Course is allied and complements the Aviation Mechanics course. Titled AVIONICS TECHNOLOGY or Air Navigation Instrumentation (Electronics) Technology, this 16-credit / approximately 32-week professional program is a combination of A&P mechanical instrument diagnostic and repair training. This program is dedicated to those who are interested in going one step further or expanding their knowledge in the career of Aviation Mechanics. Our program is approved by the Department of Education, Accredited as a School of Excellence by ACCSC, and Certified by the agencies that direct Aviation Electronics worldwide as AEA / NCATT / ETA-I. The Pell Grant and GI Bill certify approval by US Federal agencies.

The Aviation Mechanics course is designed for those participants interested in a curriculum focused on the main topics required by aeronautical laws. This program serves as the first step for A&P (General, Airframe & Po werpl ant) license and includes built-in mechanical and technical conversational English. We use state-of-the-art classrooms with licensed and certified teachers who are experts in the field. Also, you start the necessary work experience being referred, when available, to practice working in real and airworthy planes or developing the crafts in our workshops in order to move on to the second step, which are the job interviews as Repairmen or assistant and comply with the required hours of minimum 18 months (FAA FAR 6 5 .77) work experience (practical) in employment as a repairman/assistant and/or authorized FAA AMT course (24-30 months). We also meet the European educational requirements under EASA Part 66 to work as a Level 1 mechanic (Aguadilla project).
